1275 gt carb issues

my dad dismantled the carb on the mini, in doing so he broke one of the screws
(not sure which one though) whats the best way to get it out?

and any tips for when putting it together?

Sorry, I think a little more information or a picture would help.

There may be good and bad ways to attempt to remove the screw depending on where the particular screw is/was. Until you post back, encourage your dad to wait and not to dive into this with screw extractors.

I am guessing at one of the three screws on the top of the dashpot thingy

the cars a 1972 'L' reg.

the broken screws are on the float chamber and it is all three of the screws :saywhat: :wub:

what will be the best way to get them out? the thread sticks out a bit on each side of the metal, would they come out with a pair of pliers and brute force?
