I find one thing which quite often lets the interior of a mini down is the headlining... although expensive to replace, a couple of cans of vinyl spray does the trick (tenner each from halfords), and can also be used on the top and bottom dash rails.. This does realy spruce up the interior...

Unless you carpets are worn out, then a good clean with a upholstery cleaner, or even better, hire a rug doctor and you can do your seats at the same time, and door cards if velour... I hired one to do the carpets in the house, for a day cost about 40 quid, and even with the heavy traffic of me with oil/dirty boots up the hallway, it all came out..

Then with the rest of the cash, it's bling time...

Hi i re trimed my origanal door cards with the carpet you get in halfords and audio shops for carpeting parcel shelfs and sub boxes.turned out well good ,got black roll of carpet for £20, glue gun for £10 loads of glue sticks then its just a case of laying down the door card on the material and rapping it round the sides like a present ,then find the nessecary holes in the door card for winder etc pierce through them and cut the holes in to quarters so you can pull them back through tight and glue them. I finished mine of wit chrome door accesories dat i picked up for £15 quid from a show.I then also did my parcel shelf and rear panels ,and my speaker boards in rear bins for another £20 roll.
