What car are the Recaros originally from?
I have Ford Escot XR3i (turbo) in mine. I had to first grind off the original ford fitting brackets, leaving the horizontal runners
I fitted two L shape brackets to the box section that come up the face and go rearwards, about 1" rear of the box section (4mm steel). I then drilled a single mounting hole in the last inch or so for the front of the runners.
For the rears, i made up two "feet", of hte same height as the box section so the seat was level (almost - tilts slightly back). The foot nearest the tunnel had to have a plate projecting towards the handbrake, as the foot does not sit level on the floor. This foot used one of the original seat "hook" holes, with a piece of 3mm scrap steel underneath as a force spreader. The other foot I did drill a new hole in the floor, but to be honest I probably didnt have to fix the outer side down. Repeat for the other seat. Sorry, I cannot get photographs as I am storing that car at my grans for winder... i'm sad, I know...

1 yup loads of room.
2 Yup they'd be fine as long as they are strong enough
3 yup again should be fine
I have RS2000 mk5 seats in mine, and I just bolted the seats down with some L shaped brackets on the seat and L shaped brakets on the floor of the car.
I don't have runners.

You can kinda of see one of the mounts there.

Theres just a picture of the seats so you can get an idea. Im using harness but a standard belt should work no problem.
