Fan Belt Pains

hi guys just new in this morn so a big hello to tmf, just realised bout 20 ago that fan belt perished and snapped on my 96 mayfair dis morn any ideas as whether there is a good qualit one to get mite as well buy good seeing as im putting a mortgage into it anyway ha ha

The standard Unipart fan belt for your particular model will easily be of sufficient quality so long as your car is well maintained. The point is that a fan belt is a serviceable part, that should be checked regularly and replaced as necessary as part of routine maintenance, in order to avoid any future failure.

cheers i only just boought the car and its never been serviced it only has 6500 miles from new so prob been sitting up for long spurts since 96 im goin to give it a good overhaul now thanks again

Or you can get them from Halfords.
