In reference to the Boxing day run to Skeggy

In light of the changeable weather, and the possibility of need in sledges instead of buckets and spades ( actually may need the space to dig yourself out )

I know, snow on the fens can get fairly frisky, and the last thing I want to do is to encourage people out of their nice warm cosey houses to risk the possibility of not getting back...

Therefore, I'm going to keep an eye on the travel information and weather forcasts today and make an informed decision later on this evening...

I have already been asked by local club members if this is still on, and have replied the same..

I Hope those of you which were considering coming understand...

Well, so far out this way the snow isn't too bad in Cambridgeshire, but apparently is worse in Peterborough and beyond... maybe someone from Notts or Lincs can provide some local input?

Very deep here, and the roads are very icey. I'm from Lincoln by the way.

I have my contact, and the Tesco drivers from the fens region have said it's not pleasant, so I'm afraid....

It's off.. well for me anyway...

Shame realy as I've been looking forward to it...

Maybe reschedule sometime in the new year, when it's realy bad
