Alarm/ Central Locking

right i have a 1990 mini city that im converting to a cooper

is it possible to fit remote central locking to it if its not already there??
and if so with putting a fibre glass front end on would you be able to wire it up to one of the pins if someone removed the bonnet that shouldnt be doing so

Yes and yes. Minis never had central locking as standard, anyone that's got it has an aftermarket system fitted.

All the large Mini specialists carry them, but you can also get an almost identical bespoke kit from an Ebay shop at a fraction of the price. They are pretty easy to fit, it should take you about a day if you've never done it before.

if i was to buy a clifford alarm for the mini would they need these first or will they do it them selves
