Hi everyone my names Sian and i live in Surrey, I have been around mini's all my life and have owned 3 mini's in 3 years of driving.

I now only own one (shortly two) it is called Tango as it is orange and i brought it with a 1300 lump in it, apart from that it was standard. I have added 6/13 Ultralights, group 5 arches and center exhaust, still adding parts.

Tango is going to be resprayed in the summer not sure on the colour yet.

Only a few propblems with it like it keep blowing fuses, the wipers went last night and this morning the idicaters went to. Any ideas???

Look forward to talking to you all

S

Any ideas would be good!

A short circuit perhaps? Check the wires for fraying. If u have a lot of spotlights or big sound systems sometimes it can cause the wiring to burn out.

Are u using the correct fuse rating? And check the haynes manual to see the correct colour coding for the wires on the fuse box.

and Welcome to the forum :)

Fuse ratings, make sure they are of good quality (not cheap ones)

Fuse between 1&2 -- stoplights, reversing lights, indicator flasher unit, heated rear window. Only working when key switch is on position II.

Fuse between 3&4 -- horn, hazard indicators, and brake failure light. These work all the time.

Fuse between 5&6 -- heater/wipers - these work on position I or II

Fuse between 7&8 -- side and taillights work all the time.

plus two line fuses above the air cleaner

Hazard warning and interior lamp (8/15amp) Brown and purple/Orange wiring

Rear fog (5/10amp) Blue and Blue/Orange wiring
