Stupidly i didn't buy a spot weld removal drill bit to remove my battery box so i've ended up with rather large holes in boot floor that need welding up. Other people may have done this as well so i found a little "how to" guide that will help you weld up those holes.

Would it not just be easier to mig it without the nail. Thats what I've done in the past with holes about the size you get for pop rivits and drilled spot welds, weld with the mig untill the hole is closed and then sand wheel it down. Bigger holes require a patch piece that is usualy bigger than a nail head.

But for beginner (ish) welders that are welding holes too small for a patch and too big just to build a weld up on surely it a fairly good idea?
Or maybe not.... I'll shut up now. lol

ive never attempted to weld in my life so i cant really talk but i would have thought thats the long winded way of going about it
if i was told to do it i would either build the hole up with weld or patch it if its a huge hole
but what do i know
