Hi.......

I owned three minis one after the other since passing my driving test waaaaaaaay back lol, ending up with a 1275GT


Fast Foward to last year and my daughter brought a checkmate Mini from a guy we know well........ I drove her mini and the memories came flooding back wooo hooo !!!


Then the guy was selling HIS mini, a modified one, but the asking price was too much, but he then removed the modded engine and replaced it with a standard 1000cc, and reduced the price, was I interested......... I ummmmed and arrrrrred and well decided that I was gonna have some fun in a road going go kart !!! so I brought it!!!

I thought I recognised that mini, have seen it a few past shows and it was featured alone with 3 others (one lime green and 2 purple ones) in the march 06 mini mag.

As a complete guess, it just so happens to also have black cobra buckets with yellow piping and a yellow dash?

Your guess is right!!!! Seats are cobras, and yes a yellow dash too!!!

We meet two weeks, the next meet is on 13th Feb why not pop along?

LOL LAUGHS my brain suddenly clicked and I realised what you mean..... see I edited my post above .......

I thought it was a reference to Dave the pub owner who's always meddling with a mini - Re - in the garage...................
