Headlamp Assembly

iv bought the h4 headlamp conversion for the mini, but previous owner owner had already dismantled the old units.
as any 1 got an image of this blown up so i canb see how to put back together??

Can you describe or post a photo of which type of headlamp assembly your car has? There are a couple of different sets of lens retaining parts that have been used but they are all similar. Essentially you have a ring to clamp the lamp into and a series of posts and screws to both mount it and adjust its position, sometimes with springs to pull against. Parts catalogues have exploded views of all assemblies on the car and as such are very useful things to have. The major specialists each publish a parts catalogue, and Moss and Somerford have exploded diagrams on their websites that you could check.

If you are running a Mini you really should have at least a Haynes, and better a workshop manual - both will clearly show the assembly.

only bought on the 16th jan, been away from minis soo many yrs.
by the way dunno why this looked tricky. all sorted now
