You can spray the door cards with flexible vinyl paint, £10 a can from halfrauds. It does look quite glossy but it's the cheapest way of making them look different.

I sprayed my steering column housing too, my dad had some matte black paint in the garage so we used that. Came out quite nice and cost nothing to do, although I do keep scratching it with the key trying to get it in the ignition.

thats a brilliant idea mate haha!

hopefully the column is easy to take off XD

The column housing is very easy to remove, just two or three screws hold it together as I remember and then it kind of falls into two halves. I wouldn't recommend spraying your existing plastic housing though as many solvent paints will react with the plastic, also as stated above it will scratch easily (especially with keys), but if you do decide to spray it then use an acrylic based spray paint from a model shop, not standard auto paint. In fact I think I've got a spare black plastic one somewhere that I could let you have fairly cheaply instead if your interested? :)

EDIT - PM sent

Hi mate,

I used the subframes which came with the seats. Luckily the subframe & glide rails were already attached so i only had to do a minimal amount of modification to get them on.

I assume yours don't have the subframe with them then?

Abe
