Need Help Fitting Verto Clutch

I've got my new verto clutch plate and ahve set about trying to refit it.
I've put the plate back in between the flywheel and pressure plate and am now trying to re-fit the whole thing back in.
Looking at the slotted grooves, and the woodruff washer that needs to align, can I ask how you best check that everything has been aligned correctly and the washer has fitted into the slots correctly?
Unfortunately my Haynes book only shows details on the pre-verto clutch and so I'm not sure how to check everything is back together correctly.
I've tried to tighten the bolt that holds everything together, and that seems to push the pressure plate back down the spline, but how far down does this have to go?
Any tips folks?
Thanks,
Tony B

Align the flywheel by eye, simply turn it around through 360 degrees you will see the correct alignment as it becomes obvoius, as does the keyed washer......

Firstly Tony, you really need to lap the flywheel back on to the crankshaft tail...... this will increase its reliability and longevity, also preventing the flywheel from "welding" to the tail

Sorry, but can you explain what you mean by "lap the flywheel back on to the crankshaft tail". I don't understand.
Thought there'd be more to it that just aligning. Seems strange to be that easy!
I have aligned by eye, and see that the keyed washer only really fits one way round. So perhaps I have it right - just being cautious I suppose.
Just need to torque it correctly now and hopefully that should be it.
Found the verto clutch detailed in the Haynes supplement, and it turns out I've done what they suggest for refitting anyhow.
