i need to change the wheel on my mini sidewalk 1995 and it doesn't have a wheel brace, i was looking on mini spares and they seem to just have one size so if i bought it off of mini-spares will it defenatly fit or do i need to find out the size of the bolts and do it that way?

I picked up a decent extending wheel brace from Lidl or Adli for about a fiver, that works on the mini.

The majority of Mini wheel nuts are 11/16" which is VERY close to 17mm. The cheap places like Aldi/Lidl often do an extending wheel brace that has a double ended socket that's 19mm one end and 17mm the other. They are usually a single hex socket so in that case 17mm is fine.
Be careful as some wheel nuts aren't the same as the standard Mini. Revolutions for example use a special nut and from memory the head is 3/4" (again close enough to 19mm that a single hex socket is fine).
The extending wheel braces also tend to be a standard 1/2" drive so if your wheel nuts are something different you can pick up a 1/2" drive socket to match them to keep in the boot and save carrying the whole socket set around with you. Also means that if your spare is a normal wheel you can carry a set of normal nuts around too and just swap the socket if you need to fit that.
