They are ok they make some great stuff,, but I would be warey of having machine work done by them.. but saying that after recent experience from a supposedly good engine builder I won't be using any mini specialists for engine work as some most seems to be very poor.

That's not to say they are all bad, I am yet to be filled with confidence. but I now have a machine shop I use that are impeccable for quality... I will PM you the details they are in warrington

Hi, there is a very good machine shop in Irlam, south Manchester. it is off the main road up a lane near the old railway line. I shall try to find out a name for you. A friend has just had his head skimmed and rebuilt for a Landrover. I know he was very pleased with the work and the price was very good. He is a turner himself so that should be some sort of recomendation.
I hope i can get it for you.

I found the best method is go to a repair place and ask who they use, then go to the next repair place and ask who they use mentioning the first place to see what they say.

You look nuts but you get a machinist out of it. You DON'T need a mini one, you need a good one. My machinist isn't a mini specialist, but when you walk in and he working on an engine block from 1910 you know he's good.

I can also recommend headshop in Warrington - They are very good at what they do.

Although i've used minisport aswell and they did a good job for a cheaper price.
