i saw this concept sc30 on top gear last night, and thought bingo, this is the colour i want to spray my mini, but i cannot find a colour code anywhere, i did read somewhere it was a one off mixed ferrari paint which had disheartened me, but i cannot find the link again, anyone know ?

There are millions of paint codes out there, if it is a custom colour you will be able to find an almost identical one if you head down to your local paint suppliers and flick through there color charts.

I suspect with it being a one off proto there wont be alot of info on things as trivial as paint codes.

Seriously though, they guy I get my paint from can always mix stuff up for me, they might know something similar, it's all they see all day!

As a wild guess, it may be a Volvo retro colour, from the fifties or early sixties.... It has that kind of vibrancy about it

think i've seen something very similar on the old daf elastic band car??

also worth looking through fiat colours, they have done a massive range over the years

Personally id say they were miles away, far darker.

depends what pic you look at of the Volvo... and of the fiat and VW colour.. in all honesty this is just academic as we all know you can't tell the colour of a car unless it's sat in front of you..

I fairly sure looking at it it's a solid blue though....

If you find out the name of the colour the code may be on this site... not sure if it helps but hey... hope it did.

looks pretty close to a porshe colour. take a good pic to a car paint supplier, hopefully they can scan it.

Looks almost identical to Pageant Blue, a 70s Mini colour..

Can't say it's to my tastes tho..

Now my dad has just told me he wants it to be sprayed a RAL colour, and the nearest one is sky blue pictured here.. curse my life :L
