i have a electronic dizzy and the wires coming out of it are red and black can anybody tell me which goes where please

One goes to the '+' terminal on the coil the other goes to the '-' terminal, trial and error, fit them to the terminals and if you don't get a spark when you turn the engine over, swap them round.

Logic would say that the red would be posative
