Hi all, I'm after a single black bumper in good condition, if it's in the West Yorks area I can collect (and pay cash so no paypal costs either), if not just let me know what the postage would be. There must be loads of them about where people have gone for the chrome/stainless look.

Drop me a message or reply here.

Cheers!

They're so expensive new, (mainly because there wasn't a need for them, people changed them to stainless/chrome?) and not many I've seen second hand in a good condition when I looked into it, most with rust or paint flaking off due to rust, and of course dents.

Suggest buying a brand new stainless steel one and painting it (or getting it painted), will last longer than the original fitted black ones.

http://www.minispare...ty=pb&pid=36745 - £25 inc vat, and I'm near enough to collect from minispares as well. So, if there's no good second hand ones around I'll just get one of those. The car lives in a garage and comes out to play for sprints and track days, so it should last fine.

If you want longevity, get a stainless one and have it powdercoated matt/satin black

This got me thinking, so I had a look round and found some black fibreglass bumpers:

They might not stand up to road use very well, but for a track car they should be ideal - technically I'm not supposed to have fibreglass ones but it won't be too obvious and I won't get pulled up unless I get a lot faster than I am.

Anyone know what sort of quality these are? They look pretty good.
