I putting this up as I am hoping that you lot will be more sympathetic and give me better advice than everybody else (especially my house mates) .

I just got back from the doctors about an hour ago and have been told I have chicken pox. I'm 21 this shouldn't happen. I have been feeling ill for the last couple of days. My house mates though I might have meningitis so I suppose its good its not that. As soon as they found out it was chicken pox their sense of sympathy went. They are all amazed that I have never had it. They have since tried to tape oven mits to my hands and have been making jokes about me hanging around with little kids. Cheers Guys.

My god its itchy!!!

They think its great I get about two weeks off university but with my project being behind by about three weeks and needing to get into the university workshops at the minute I really could have done with out this. I have at least been able to scrounge my mate Chris's TV and have taken my PS3 upstairs with me. I suppose I can make some progress on gran turismo.

http://uk.wrs.yahoo......lamine+lotion

Should help with the itching.

Think chicken pox can leave you infertile as an adult as well, or was that measles???

Cheers for the suggestion on the lotion. My friend Harriet suggested that to me. She is being more sympathetic than the rest of my friends at least.

As for the infertility thing, I just googled it and yes your right but is usually due to the fever it causes. Oh Joy

I have just heard back from my tutor and at least uni has granted me an extension if needed.
