Mini Clubman saloon 998 1970 in Blue royal.

Spent 4 yrs restoring this car and got on the road last July.

It has had new inner and outer sills,flitch panels,a panels,wings,front panel,slam panel,scuttle corners,reskinned doors,boot floor and rear valance.

Completely resprayed inside and out including engine bay and boot with all panels off on 16-11-09. All glass refitted with new rubbers and chrome inserts.

Converted to dry using a gen rear subframe and a good used front, new shocks,knuckle joints, braided flexi hoses and all new copper pipes.

Rear brakes over hauled, spacer drums, front has new 7.5" brake converstion.

998cc engine all new gaskets,timing chain,waterpump and used unleaded head all painted BMC green with a MG rocker cover,chrome pancake air filter and a sureflow side exit exhaust. Gearbox is the remote type with new clutch kit and slave cylinder.

Has steel rostyle wheels 4.5" x 10" which have been powder coated with new 165 falkan tyres, chrome centres and wheel nuts.

Standard Galleon Blue trim in good condition (41yrs old) new carpets, mountney steering wheel and gear knob.

Car has MOT till 30/7/2011 and taxed till end of July 2011 - tax exempt.

Car is located at Brackley Northants.

Not really would consider any car around £500 under 1500cc ,to help a sale although cars don't seem to be selling very well at the moment.

Would also consider a MK2 XR2 fiesta as PX as this is a car i always wanted in my teens/early 20s

Hi, Iam interested in the mini, and wonder if it would be possible to send me some more pics of ; boot, engine bay, door gaps etc. Also was anything done to the gearbox? Does it jump out of 2nd?

Any more info you have would be helpful. Are you around this Saturday26th to view?
