Hey,

Im looking at fitting new suspension cones as the old ones are feeling a little collapsed :)

Mini spares do a yellow dot version, and minisport do a 'competition' cone.

does anyone have any experience or opinions on which are better and why, any recomendations?

Also open to other idea's, but not coil overs or coil spring replacements.

Cheers

Chris

The yellow spot really are competition only, and probably tarmac race only as well. You should be looking at red spot from Mini Spares if this isn't a racer. Can't say anything about the Mini Sport cones but the Mini Spares red spot are excellent on the road.

Yoda has yellow spots all round, i have to avoid speed bumps, pot holes and grannies with pushchairs now. Go for softer ones if you can or you will regret it :) Mind you, Yoda goes round corners like a go kart on steroids!

Im not particularly fussed about ride comfort to be honest. Just want it to handle better than it does at the minute.

The thing is they will be fitted at the same time as a vauxhall engine, so i thought with the extra weight they might cope better?

Then get the yellow spots and a nice soft cushion for your seat :-

Oh, and there is a couple of spots on the M1 that will cause you to head butt the roof! ask my missus ;)
