Brilliant video. I love the Mini going backwards in one of the Rat Mini scences.
That was was weird as the video was actually playing forward and when I looked over the footage I saw the Mini first drive one way and then drive backwards!
was you the chap we saw with craig? you had a funky little guide track ......if you are....it works well
I popped over to your stall but was with Monkey/Rahul!
I think the next show I'll be going to is Brooklands, I'll try and wear something that so people will recognise me and if you do give me a shout and I'll take some footage of your Mini to put in the next video!

Looks like a great video but for some reason the video lags really bad on that site. Well it does for me anyway. Probs just my crappy laptop.
Ah ok, I'll try and upload it to youtube tonight. I know that one of my computer's it's pretty laggy too. Sozz!

Great Vid...Lots of nice Minis on show, But whats going on with the focus? Is it suposed to be in and out like that or does your camera have a fault?
Thanks! That's what it's supposed to be like though (copied the technique off some other car videos). Next video I'll play around with more angles and probably only a few out of focus shots.

Any photos of the rig?
So many nice mounts, hand-held and shoulder mounts but they are all damn expensive! Homemade is the way to go I think.

Video is loading so I haven't watched it yet, I'm hoping to make a few of these short videos of shows this year with my new Canon 550D.

When I do make stuff I post it onto my blog:

Here's the post for my glide track and a few pictures too:

I've done about 3 Mini related video's now, as I own one but this year I'm going to start going to other car meets just to get another perspective.
Oh nice call on the 550d I couldn't afford it so I went with a Nikon d5000, but I'll be selling it soon to get either the Canon 600d or the 60d the swivel screen really helps with interesting/awkward angles.
I've nearly finished a steady-cam so I'll also be using that soon. Just go out and start shooting film then the whole learning and experimenting phase can really begin!
