Hello everyone, just bought my first mini, its a 78 Clubman, (not the estate) and am LOVING IT.

I have never fixed up a car before and dont know anything about mechanics, but with my trusty haynes manual some common sense, im sure i will get though it.

In folkestone, kent.

Hi guys, just trying to upload some pics of my clubby, trying to work it out.

They'll be up tomorrow morning hopefullly.

Just fitted all new exhaust, centre exit twin dtm.

Really loving having a mini

I dont think it's nearly as nice as some of the mini's i've seen on here.

Unfortunately i dont have much money to spend on the mini, so not everything is all shiny. I'm trying to make the most of what I've got.
For instance, for my exhaust the link pipe etc didnt fit on to the tail pipe so i went to kwik fit and asked to look at all their scraps, and they gave me a whole 2" exhaust pipe which i modifed and made it all fit.

The rocker cover/cam cover was all rusted and made the engine look horrible, so rather than buying a new one i just took the think off, sanded it down to get rid of all the rust and sprayed it

I don't think it looks too bad.

Exhaust fitted after a whole day of trying to get to different sized piped to fit!
