Hi guys and girls, ill have to start a new thread for this as the old one seams to have gone POOF!!

I am going to arrange a Rolling Road shoot out day for the charity Cancer Research UK. The event will be held at SpamSpeed. This will be a day long event and will all be for the above charity.

The cost of this per car is £30.00. You will get a power run on the dyno as per all power shoot out days. There will be a BBQ going for most of the afternoon which is FREE, all we ask is a small donation to aid the charity. Tea and coffee will also be on offer throughout the day on a make your own bassis. Mini world have been contacted and are happy to come and cover the event to be printed in the mag. I am looking for as many cars as is poss, so any of you who are in other clubs/groups this event will be open to all (mini / metro only).

The date for this is 19th of march 2011 from 10.00am untill last car is run.

We are also looking at the possability of having a calendar made using photos taken of the day. These will be offered to all those who attended the day (cost to be finalised) but all monies will go to the charity Cancer Research Uk.

It has been mentioned that we could hold a small Auction for some mini related goodies to also boost the charity money. This is something we will look into with the view of making it happen. If any traders on here would be prepaird to help out with a few item that could be auctioned off for the charity, i would be happy for you to mail me with details. Sounds good, will there be any tuning asdvice offered as a result of rolling road?

Or is it a fire and forget power test?

Tuning advise will be given to each owner as a result of each power run. A discount will be given to all who attend the day on such things as new needles etc. These changes will be done on an individual bassis after the event at a time and day to be arranged with spamspeed as a result of your power run. Printouts will also be issued for every run made. This discount is open to ALL who attend the day. This discount will also be offered to ALL who attend the day but have not done a run on the day. A token will be issued to all on arrival, this can be redeamed at any time after the even with prior arrangement with spamspeed.
