It would probably cost quite a bit if you sent it to a repair shop. There are replacement screens on ebay for about £90, it will cost less if you fit it yourself.
How old is it, i.e did you take out warranty

its four months old and unfortunately not covered by apple
Apple Care is truly worth getting though, mine's a year old but they've sorted out a lot of stuff for me, all cosmetic though.1. How long is my MacBook covered by Apple’s warranty?
