most people want busa's but demand has made the price of these engines go through the roof! The r1 are small and reliable most are cheap bbut also due to demand cost have gone up. When i droped my subframe of at darren at promotive he had a blade engine in the corner.

yeah can underside it about whats available but was looking at power figures of all 1000cc bikes and prices as im happy with what i have but i have only got 900cc 120 ish bhp and gsxr 1000 well 998 is bout 160ish which sounds better but also injection so can tweek bit more out off it wanted to stick to 1000 cus of size and weight . only thing i was worried about was gsxr looks a lot more highier engine as im worrying anuf with blade hight as i want it low as possible with out sticking out bonnet or interfering with anything thinking of future power lol

If you do get an R1 lump remember not to go for the later injection 5vy model. This is a bigger lump than the carb models and won't fit in the Promotive kit they have out at the moment.
