to me the definition of retro is 60's rally style, so some group two extra wide arches and a door number are a must! like this.....

Retro styling to me would be a Mk 1 grill and surround, which will require the bonnet lip to be removed (and re-painted) and 10 inch wheels.

retrofied = small minilights. 5 x 10, old type grill, old austin or morris cooper badge and numberplate painted on the bonnet. looks good!

It's on 12" minilites which look fine - should be 10" really but it's a job I just don't
want to do (or pay for) yet ! Also I'm just going for a "look" not a full on 60s replica.
Fix the badge by drilling the bonnet, pins go through and fixed on the back. Bonnet strap the same,
drilled and bolted.

i quite like the early 70s look with big spots and maybe 1275 gt stripes but it to say leyland st wer it says 1275 gt
and i have a morris s cooper badge maybe use
can i put a bonnet strap on a standard crome grill? and it is possible to put it on to 10inch wheels without changing to brakes,, its on 12inch and want group 6 arches and black wheels
