i have (still in my mini, but thinking of putting in a 998cc) the following, i should add that the bottom ends have gone so does not tick over at the mo, but a lot of money has been spent on it and the bits you need should come off...
Engine and gearbox - Mg Metro engine and box.
- Engine rebuilt 2007 crank reground, bottom end dynamically balanced, head skimmed, new valve guides, swiftune double valve springs ,all new bearings, new water pump and oil pump and new clutch kit. New bestek fast road/rally distributor fitted along with new rc40 side exit exhaust. Hif44 needle + spring replaced along with main and idle jets.
- Further engine work lst year. +20" rebore taking it to 1293, new pistons and rings. new piper BP25 camshaft, new alloy bodied swiftune duplex vernier timing sprockets, new 1.5:1 roller tipped rockers, new LCB and 3 core radiator. Facet solid state electric fuel pump, new clutch master and slave cylinder. also new alloy oil catch tank
- Mg metro gearbox in good condition no whines or crunching fitted with a reconditioned 3.1 differential and new inner cvs fitted.
I should also add that that is the info i kept on the car when i bought so have no idea what everything is, but all my mini mates tell me its had a lot done and is worth a pretty penny, i'm hoping to just get rid of the engine a fit a nice little 998 to take it easy.
was also producing a good amount of bhp last time it went to a rolling road, see attached.
