Hello, I just got these spotlights and I am wondering if they are off a certain type of mini? They seem to have been painted green and it looks origional. The spotlights are Wipac Hair raisers. Also the silver foil on the inside of the lights has gone all rusty so do you know how I could restore them?

Just looks like a home-made bracket, and painted to match whatever car they were for!

Like Dan says, they're just an old pair of aftermarket Wipacs on a homemade lamp bar that have been sprayed. Not worth restoring IMO, just buy a pair of new ones like these

Can't just see how you'd fix that lamp bar to your mini. Did it come off a mini or another car?

Not much use on its own but, here's a new HairRaiser lamp on ebay.

I would restore them personally. They will be of far better quality than the new wipac's.

I Bought 4 in the summer and have just had to sand the chrome back and powdercoat them black instead as the chrome had rusted through and pitted. Thats after 7 months. Awful quality, would never recommend them again.

Ive got Lightforce lights on my offroader, 1 light cost the price of 8 wipacs, and i will happily buy another set of Lightforce lights if i ever need another set, well worth the price difference.

Thanks mininuts, I just liked them because they are 7" and I don't particularly like the 5.5" ones >_< Do you know any other sorts that are 7"?

Thanks, Ollie.

I'm trying to get to the foil to put some more on but I think the glass is stuck on somehow, I can't seem to find a way of getting it off >_<
