Hi All.

We're re-trimming the interior of my son's standard saloon. We have the carpet set but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good source for the insulation / sound deadening material to go underneath.

Thanks

I didn't really notice much of a difference with an underlay kit in mine, if you want to make it quieter then I think your only real option is possibly e-dead, I'm sure a quick google of it should give you more info.

a cheap alternative is the thick, self-adhesive roof flashing tape, i bought a few rolls from Homebase...you may get it cheaper from other places.

I agree, it made a big difference in my Smart car. I also used carpet underlay from Carpet right. It's the foam stuff with a blue backing and about 8mm thick, it works well together.
