Hi i am just about to fit a new head unit in to my mini and new speakers on the parcel shelf (all in original positions), if i want to put two more speakers in , do i just run the wire from the speakers on parcel shelf to the two new speakers of do those have to be wired dirct into the new head unit??

The original wires will works fine, so long as they're connected to the headunit.
Do you mean you're going to run 4 speakers or just replace the standard ones with new replacements?
If you're running 4, you'll need to run new wires to the two new speakers from the headunit.

RUNNING THE TWO REAR SHELF ORIGINAL ONES AND TWO NEW SO I WILL HAVE TO RUN NEW WIRES FROM THE HEAD UNIT THANKS FOR THE INFO
