Whats the difference between SBU (Small Bore Units) and BBU (Big Bore Units)?
As i understand it you cannot take a 998 engine out to 1275 why? as far as i know the castings are the same?
Is it only an a+ thing or an a series thing aswell?
Is it a Mini only thing or does it apply to all a series engines

No the castings are not the same, that's the difference. There are two sizes of casting, one used for 850, 998, 1098 etc and the other used for the 1275s.
