great another my 998 doest 120mph and its only got a stage 1 kit.

my heavily tuned 998 my about 58@the wheel and with 10ich wheels and 3.44 diff managed 90mph

Its not about topend speed its how fast it gets there.

your forgetting about your ram air filter and stub stack they gave you a extra 20bhp at least!

guess youve not been around long enough to see some of the rubbish some people come out with when people pose this question though ;) its quite humerious if you even know a little bit about cars

Which would actually suggest the real question is...

is topping out @ 70 mph normal for a 1275 ? answer.... No, any mini ( even 850's, down hill, following wind and beans for tea the night before ) should do 70...

Even my asthmatic standard 998 with a whopping 30ish bhp at the wheels will do just a tad more than 70mph. but then my speedo might be out and it would be illegal to push on any further :)
