Dont think I'd bother with the front one's as the late type do the job, the rear towing eye could come in handy.

Rear ones look good! May get one of those for mine.

For front fitment i have the standard OE type and i have to say winching it on and off the trailer when it goes Pete Tong is so much easier, and it prevents the front panel being bent etc through wrapping the winch cable around the front subby.

I however have a de-seamed front so a large one would look ridiculous!! but if yours has a bumper......

Get some!!!

I got a set of really good heavy duty ones from MRA minis a couple of years back. They were quite cheap as well considering the quality. :D

I'm not sure if they still do them as its been a while but its worth a look on their site or a call to them.

How are they secured? Do they bolt into existing holes in the subframe? Is it threaded holes or a nut on the other side?

Timtom - Nut on subframe side just take out the teardrop bolt and replace with towing eye.

I've got 2 of the front ones from minimail. Not fitted them yet though. They had previously been on back order for weeks.
