Will a morspeed MSPD trackday cam fit in a 998?

Any A series cam fits any capacity A series engine - just need to match the oil pump drive. Only slight caveat to that is that the Spider Drive oilpump was never made in 'short' form - so a cam with Spider Drive can only be used in Cooper S and 1275 engines.

the MSPD phase 3 (trackday) cam only ever came in slot drive i believe.

Its a very good cam and i have one in my scamp :)

so slot drive is what i will have? is this standard for a 1990 mini city?

ahh a new oil pump drive is only about £15 so its not really an issue :)

What else have you done to the engine, that cam is a fairly heavy one and would really only be suitable for a very tuned 998.
