
Reset Immobiliser After Battery Disconnect?

as some of you may know i'm messing about with my stereo in the car, just a quick question...
i have a factory fitted alarm/immobiliser, the guy at the garage said if you disconnect the battery you have to press the fob button 4 times or something to reset it when it's back on? can anyone advise before i decommision my car?!

Pretty much as soon as you reconnect the battery, press the fob 4 times (or the lock button if you have a 2 button remote) in order to re-sync the units.
For ease of use, make sure the bonnet and doors are closed, and disconnect the alarm sensor (courtesy switch) in the boot, as arming the alarm with the boot open will make it go off.

For future reference, this worked for me. It's written in the manual too. =)
