Can anyone help with this issue? When the vehicle is stationary and out of gear I can rev right through the range without incident. When in motion if I nurse the engine through the gear changes it copes - as soon as I attempt to accelerate in any gear the car cuts out under load. After this you have to turn the ignition off, leave it a few seconds and then re-start to nurse it back home. Can anyone suggest a remedy for this? Also I have a wire coming out of the Lambda sensor plug (on the wiring loom side) which is red & blue, not connected to anything - does anyone know where this should go? Is it possibly the cause of my cutting out problem? It's a 1994 Mini Cooper, all suggestions gratefully received!
