keep the mini and set it to weekend/show duties and use the metro as an every day car if you need one. You will regret it when you drive one.
Rust like mini's, don't have the cool factor or handle well
vvc engine can make it go well and fits straight in with some setting up, errm might be a tad more economical and easier to drive longer distances

One of the least crashworthy cars ever made, lowest score ever recorded at Euro Ncap. Which is why Rover stopped production only a few months after completing a very expensive facelift and then putting it in for testing.

I had a n-reg 111 and it faired quite well in the crashes i had in it, was cheap to fix and quite fun to drive. Wasn't the quickest car i've had but did come with some funky tri-spoke alloys.

my first new car was a rover metro 1.4 16v gta. cracking motor. but as said they rot (must be something in the metal in the 90's lol). the wheels arches rotted on the rear so i traded it in for an escort. that rotted aswell lol.

if you can find a good one then go for it.

If youve got a baby on the way I would get something better than a crappy 80s rot box. It costs me a fortune and im a student still but my child is in a 5 star car and a very expensive childseat. I would not have it any other way.

:( REALLY?? :) Are they made from cheese?? Cinquecento's are rubbish aswell but Metro's do seem to be a bit of an underdog these days for being very cheap, although rusty :(
