Is there any advantages to getting a different type of spark plug for highly tuned/ turbo engines?
(Reason I ask is you can get high spec HT leads like the turbo ones from hamilton classic?)

Is it worth getting some iridium ones or similar or do they give no advantage at all?

What would people recommend using?

Thanks

Yeah, no need for anything "fancy", you're not conducting lightning. I run the same plugs as bud and some reasonable quality 8mm leads. No problems.

Well I use NGK BPR8ES plugs. They have a shrouded electrode which I feel safer with. They come out the right colour so they must be about the right heat rating.

As above, don't believe any ******* about leads increasing the BHP or being better for turbo engines. Just buy good quality.

Fancy leads don't do anything, apart from emptying your pocket quickly..

Another plug to look at is the bosch ones, nothing fancy but they seem to last, as I've melted NGKs from 7s to 8s, just my opinion.
