Calver ST, RE 13 OT. Ive got this cam and its fab!! Its like the Kent 286 but produces more torque!! Just what you want in a 1380.. I got the cam kit which comes with the followers and matched valve springs. Its important to get the correct poundage springs. It comes with a note which tells you the correct cam timing. His web site Calvers Corner also has a great page on how to time in your new cam to perfection.

what sort of bhp you get from you 1380...have you got a twin cab or single?

Im useing the HIFF 44 same as you, It seems to work well all through the rev range and no flat spots. Im told it will fuel an engine with up to 120bhp. Mine has no where near that!! not been on the rollers yet but it feels almost as good as my mates rally car (1380) which has 104bhp at the flywheel. I reckon maybe 90bhp from mine.
