as above found more car parts in my grandads garage that are going to be listed but im unsure what cars they are for.
they are most likely to be from rovers but models are what im after.
i know a lot of folks on here can identify parts from even the poorist image, someone should know.

1) this is a full ignition barrel setup with plug to stick straight in and keys. hopeing the numbers can lead to full I.D.



2)this is the wing mirror from some rover,


3)wipac rear fog lights,


4)some door handles, i think these are maestro handles??


and finally,
5)i think these are either land rover or allegro handles??


hope someone knows what these are,

on the wipac rear fog lights are they both red lens's or is the one face down clear?

both red, and identical i turned it over so you know what its like from behind ( more tea vicar)

I'd list that steering lock by part number, it fits a few cars.

The foglamps are generic aftermarket.

Are you sure that's a Rover door mirror?

door mirror is a 400 type

chrome door handles are austin metro vp ones

the 3 door handles are marina, all-agro, range rover, lotus somthing or other too

to be honest honest like i said i assumed they were all rover based as thats were my grandad worked as a gearbox specialist (he met issi).
he also managed to "aquire" an awful lot of parts including full engine setups.

so all my ideas were guesses, not fussed about most of it but that ignition barrel id imagine is very a couple quid??

I don't think the barrel is Sherpa with those keys - it does look like a Metro one, depends on the diameter of the column it'd fit.

The fogs will be a late 70's accessory, I've got a similar set of front ones kicking around somewhere (acquired in a similar fashion )

The Mirror also looks as if it'd fit a Metro, but I don't remember that style.

ethel thatnks for that, the wing mirror does look a lot like a 400 one and i think it would look massive on a metro.

can anyone help on this one, how much is it worth starting its bidding at?
it never been on a car, has the original unipart sticker, and an air filter which has never had to filter air.
its just a little dusty.

The air filter box is off an A-series engined Metro, don't think it's off an MG Metro or MG Turbo though. Also possibly off an early 90's carbed mini ie non injection but not 100% sure about that.
