Was pulling off my drive yesterday, to go to the Docs, and the bush attacked Babs and ripped off her wheel arche it's now in 3 pieces!! (and then when i finally get to the docs she tells me i might have glandular fever )
how easy is it go get how of a standard (if thats what it's called) wheel arche? they're the ones that were orginally on her!
oh yea, and it's illegal to drive with ur wheel sticking out further than the car isn't it? do u think i'd be able to get away with driving her home to nottingham to get her fixed or will it have to be done in lincoln?

You should be alright taking it somewhere to get fixed. If you do get stopped you say it's just fallen off and your on your way to get it fixed.
Should be very easy to get a standard replacement I think they only cost a couple of pounds! If I remember rightly they're only held on by 4 or 5 rivets easy job!
Oh and hope you feel better soon!

Well if you do get stopped just tell the copper you don't have an arch because as the old lady you just hit bounced off your car, the blind dog see was walking knocked it off.
Sorry to hear about the fever, obviously working to hard! :erm:
PS. I've had bushes jump out in front of me as well!!

Hope you get well soon Sian
As for the wheel arch you just need a pop rivet gun and rivets, can be put back on in no time. I had to do it on mine when I was driving through town and someone opened there door onto the road and ripped off my passenger side fron wheel arch, which I had just put on due to sorting some rust out!

I'd be more concerned with the glandular fever if i were you - anybody's who's had it will tell you you're so wiped out, even waking up tires you out
Hope all is ok in the long run

I had glandular fever 5 years ago in (year 9), i had 35 days off ill from school (not in a row), i was so tired all the time i just didnt have the energy to do anything.
One of my friends had it last year and he was off lots (was his A-level year too).
If u have trouble getting up, use ur radio as an alarm clock and have a shower soon as you get out of bed, i found that woke me up pretty quickly!
Get better soon, i no exactly how u feel!
And the same to ur mini, it was a concrete post that stepped out in front on me
