If you get a complete brushless set up then you can save your self a lot of trouble matching motors to ESCs. The HPI Flux system is powerful, easy to set up and best of all made by one of the best brushless system makers around (Castle Creations) so the chance of you breaking are pretty remote. Clicky

Have a look on here for priceing: http://www.m-k-racin...00d0479f871c187
They are not cheap, but definatly worth it.
I have a losi xceleron 4.5t setup in my B44 and its mint, nothing ive raced is faster in a straight line, im just not the best driver
Im not a fan of anything HPI, and that castle creations stuff is questionable at best.
Thing is, im used to useing this sort of kit under racing conditions, not just for fun and messing about, so the do get allot of abuse.
If you really want to go fast, make sure you get an ecu which can handle Li-Po batteries.
Im running 7.4v, 25C cells atm, but i want to upgrade to some of the newer stuff like the 7.4v 60C cells which are around now, and have some SERIOUS kick behind them.
If you want to go for a basic brush less setup on ni-cad cells then your looking at about £100-£150. For the more professional kit, name your price.
Get the best you can afford and you wont regret it
