My engine block is marked MED 175.90.1380

I've worked out the 1380 part, but what does the rest mean ?

It doesn't describe the engine build at all. It should mean that it was the 175th engine they built in 1990 but that seems like an awfully old engine. Although the build sheet does have awfully old phone numbers on it!

When I emailed them about my MED head it was just a reference number and they came back with the spec via email.

The chamber size was also stamped on the top left.

So I also think build number and year.

It was the chamber size I was hoping to find, do you have a pic of where yours is.

1990 would make sense as its a 1985 car, but the engine was swapped out of a mini in 1994 ish.
