Hey,
I was just wondering what everyones opinion was on the new 1.4 MultiAir that Fiats been shoving in every Italian supermini? Anyone whos driven one? Or has anyone had time to transplant one yet?
If you havent guessed I dont have access to one of these so if anyone is able to post any useful dimensions or anything else (particularly dimensions, would really like to know how big these things are?)
All comments would be appreciated, cheers....

jayne's fiat has just had its first MOT...... hard to believe its 3 years old already
they loaned her a 1.4 multi-air thingy for the day...... and tried their best to hard sell one to her...... she wasn't that keen.
the abarth we had a borrow of last time was much more fun

its fairly refined untill you get to 4500rpm...... then it just kinda gets silly.

500 abarth is 1.4 with a turbo essesse is 160 and i beleive ferrari have had some input with them too to add a 170hp model
It puts down the power faily well but as mart says fairly unrefined.
The standard engine is fine but the abarth ha that body kit for a reason.

I was loaned multiair Punto Evo while I had my Grande Punto serviced. They were both 1.4 8v and the only difference I could really tell was the multiair averaged around 55mpg whereas I average around 45mpg in my car. The multiair was a bit more powerful but Ill stick with my car.
