im just about to have some welding done so ive been stripping everything out the car, carpets, sound proofing, the horible tar stuff, and the passenger seat, doing so ive noticed little drops of water in the passenger footwell the last couple of days and i think it might be coming from the heater matrix, but this was changed just before christmas ? am i right or could it be something else ( just before i go back to the garage who fitted the matrix )

could just be the connections where the heater pipes join the matrix might need tightening up a little

I had a similar problem a while ago, I tried to tight the clips but it made no difference. She went into the garage and they changed the matrix over - fixed. Whether it actually needed a new matrix, I'm not too sure.
