Do you think that would be good or it would be crazy?

Its your Mini, people prefer either mk1 or 2 onwards grilles on their own personal preference.
What one person likes, another may hate, so the decision is up to you. I went for a MK1, purely because its the styling route inwhich Downton chose.

It's my mini, and it's my decision, I know it, but I want to know what people think about putting this grille
to british open rover mini. It is not so difficult! Thanks for answer me!!

Why dont you try posting a picture of your mini up so we can at least see how it looks at the moment? Is it standard or got after market wheels?
I dont think it would suit a standard mini, but the mk1 grille does tend to look good when displayed with fat tyres, bonnet straps etc on the car

ok, I let you a picture of my mini.

The second picture is my mini a few weeks ago, but now, a friend is painting my mini in red in his workshop, including part of the roof, that is red too. I am going to putting sportpack arches and 13-inch wheels, SuperLite possibly, with the center in black.
The first picture is a mini that I retouched in photoshop, and it's like I want to make my mini, more or less.
What do you think? Do you think it will look well the mkI grille or not?

if i was you i'd sell the british open and buy another one to paint red and add the arches - i think it would be better to leave a limited ed like the open as standard as possilbe and get something else to mod, but that's just me...

BOC's (British Open Classics) and "special edition" minis are really that special. There was a different special edition mini launched everytime a leaf fell from a tree anywhere in the world! There are loads of them. This means that the so called special editions, really arent very special. Also, there are a fair few BOC's still around. So I wouldnt personally be too afraid of potentially devaluing the BOC. If anything, they only demand a little extra money because of the electric full length roof (which is actually a one off sized webasto roof, no other webasto roof will fit the gap unless its from another BOC) And at the end of the day, it will still have the electric roof when you paint it red so If I was you i wouldnt let the devaluing comment put you off.

As for the grille, I'm not a fan of mk1 grilles with spotlights. So if your keeping the spot lights you have, dont bother getting the grille. If you are taking the spot lights off then I think a mk1 grille would look nice on your motor.

Look this british open with mkI grille!!

I think some people may be finding it difficult to understand your posts (and I am presuming this) because English isnt your first language? there may be a little something getting lost in translation

suppose it depends on how original the rest of the car is, however, if i was looking for a boc i wouldn't be looking for one that isn't brg - i know there were lots of limited editions, boc is just one of the ones i like!

British racing green? I don't like this colour. I prefer any other color, though not original :)
