I started playing guitar about 8 years ago (when I was 9) and since then I've had lessons on and off up to about 3 years ago. Anyway, about september last year I sold my Epiphone Les Paul Custom and bought myself an Ibanez Sa Series. Why? Because I fancied having a different guitar hanging on my wall!
Anyway, it kind of prompted me to start playing again and recently I've played about 3 hours a day and am really getting back into it. Just interested really to see what everyone else has and what they're running it through. I'm looking to currently make myself a pedal board to hold a couple of effects I've got so if anyone has done anything similiar it would be great to see a few pictures?
I'll start us off

This is what I have:
My electric, I love it so much, it's an Ibanez Sa Series White Guitar with the pearl inlays and edging:

My Semi-Acoustic, a pretty cheap guitar made by ridgewood, only cost me about £150, but it's nice to have when I fancy acoustic:

Had a Yamaha DG60 amp but sold that when I sold my Epiphone so I just run it all through my speakers now. They're Intimidation PI - 110 8 ohm rated 250rms with a peak of about 600 < although that value doesn't really count as all you spund guys will know! I've got two of these. That's my main mix. I run my monitor mix to a 5.1 Surround Sound Creative set and a 2.1 Logitech, although the speakers are turned down reasonably low so I use this mix mainly to get a bit of bass if required.
All the sound goes into my 12 Channel Peavey 2002-12 RQ Mixer onto the Behringer 16 Slider Graphic EQ and then into a Cerwin Vega 900 watt 2 Channel Amp (that's what powers my two PA Speakers). All of this is housed in a desk I made.
In terms of effects, I've never been a massive fan of numerous pedals, although I do have a few. A Korg AX-10G and a DanElectro T-Bone Distortion. I hardly ever use these though. I tend to use my Line 6 UX2 which connects to my MacBook which runs Pod Farm and GearBox Live. For anyone after effects that doesn't need to be able to switch between multiple effects quickly I would highly recommend this. It is a fantastic piece of equipment and also comes with Ableton Live so you can record directly onto your computer. The UX2 and all software can be bought as a whole package for £130, a lot less than having lots of effects pedals. The UX2 allows 2 inputs at the same time, if you only need 1 the UX1 is even cheaper!
That's enough text for now!
Here's a few pictures

Hope I didn't bore you too much!
