What you need is a C spanner
Thanks for the reply, how tight should I tighten it?

on some suspension you have 2, where they lock together ensuring that it doesnt spin.
On my coilovers, protech, i only have one.... your not trying to tighten this bottom plate, by adjusting where this plate sits, your changing the height at which the car sits...having it fully wound down to the bottom, the car will sit at its lowest point, highest posision the car will be highest...but beware about the springs being so tight they could possibly go coil bound

personaly, il be making custom mounts to give myself extra movement without risk of coil binding, whilst also running the car nicely low

theres usualy a "lower" type set up, depending what your wanting from the car.

Yeh I went with the 1" lower setup with 12" revolutions and 1" wheel spacers. I pulled the car out of the garage and the little 2" hump at the garage entrance caused the tire to scrub the wheel well lip so it looks like I am going to have to get some more cutting done on the fender. Hopefully the sportspack arches I bought will be wide enough
