What age / make / model of radio do you have? There are certain programs available to "decode" the security code from the serial of the radio. Remove it from the dash and post the number. Also - check the rear for the code - mine had it handily written on the cage...
Hi manage to get the radio out not lucky enough to have the code on it so this is all the info I found.
On a white sticker on top of the radio is
Type No. 2DC349/60S
RG Part No. XQD101050
FD 0596398000457
MODEL NO. 22DC349/60S
PROD NO. FD 0596398000457
And ecthed on the side of the radio is RG349FT8000457
Thats all the info I can find.

It ranged from £25 to £2.69 off Ebay and no guarantee that the code would work. In the end I found a webpage, sent the guy an email with the info I posted on here, within 10 mins he sent a code 9502 which worked and no money changed hands all he asked for was a donation on his site, which I happily gave a fiver as it worked and was no scam.
Thanks again to all that helped.
