I used to have a Ripspeed version of it, and it was 'ok' for what it did. To be totally honest, for that price, you're much better off getting an active subwoofer off ebay.

They add a little bit of bass, but distort quickly when you crank up the volume or bass

wouldnt buy either m8 to be honest ive found your better with seperate sub and amp better sound and not as likely to break >_< think theres 1 for sale on here looks quite decent

ive got these http://www.justkenwo...69rc-active-sub on a board under the rear seats, not a bad sound. but if you want to be loud and low its got to be a 10 or 12 in the boot properly amped up

I've got one in my daily driver SAAB, but I don't think it would work for anything save a late-model soundproofed Rover Mini. It lowers the bottom end of your speakers' range, but certainly doesn't add any oomph to the sound. As said elsewhere, for a loud car like a mini, you're going to need more sub size and more power to make audible bass happen..
